With school budget cuts becoming increasingly severe, Essex Primary School has taken a smarter approach to managing maintenance expenses. Traditionally, the school repainted its playground line markings every 18 months—a recurring cost that added up quickly.

This year, the school switched to a more durable cold plastic MMA (Methyl Methacrylate) solution. The new long-lasting line marking is expected to reduce the total cost of ownership to just one-third of the previous amount over an 8-year period.
