Silikal was pleased to take part in the World Congress on Green Buildings 2026 in Berlin from 9–11 June, showcasing our innovative Silikal Roof waterproofing system.

Designed to provide a fast, practical and high-performance waterproofing solution, Silikal Roof has been tested in accordance with EAD standards and holds a European Technical Assessment (ETA). This certification provides building owners and users with recognised confirmation that the system meets current technical standards – an important consideration for safe and sustainable construction.

The World Congress and accompanying exhibition bring together experts from across the green building sector, covering green roofs, façades and interiors, as well as wider topics including urban climate, rainwater management, sustainability and the future of cities.

Organised every two years by the Bundesverband GebäudeGrün (BuGG), the event provided an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas, share experiences and explore the latest developments in sustainable building.
