Silikal recently welcomed clients to its headquarters in Mainhausen, Germany, for two specialist seminars focused on construction law, construction contracts and complaints management.

Held on 14 and 23 April 2026, each seminar welcomed 14 participants, creating a focused and interactive environment for questions, discussion and the exchange of practical experiences.

Expert insights into construction law

We were pleased to welcome Dr Sascha Haremza, an experienced construction law specialist from Aschaffenburg, as guest speaker.

The seminars focused on two key areas:

• Construction contracts and the correct handling of concerns and objections
• Construction defects, warranties and complaints management

Using practical examples, Dr Haremza covered important issues including contract drafting, construction delays, defects, warranties, project acceptance, price increases and current developments in construction law.

The sessions were designed to provide participants with clear, practical guidance that could be applied to everyday construction projects.

Practical discussion and knowledge exchange

The small group format encouraged open discussion, with participants able to bring their own cases, experiences and questions to the sessions.

This practical approach helped attendees develop greater confidence when dealing with construction contracts, defects and complaints, while identifying strategies to improve internal processes and communication with clients.

Feedback was overwhelmingly positive, highlighting the value of practical guidance on construction law and contract management.
